The Investors in People Standard uses nine indicators based on the features of organisations that consistently outperform industry norms and are grouped around three indicators: (1) leading (2) supporting and (3) improving.
Highlights from our assessment included:

- People are encouraged to contribute ideas and there is a sense that improvements that have a positive impact will be supported.
- Managers and people actively look to develop new skills and knowledge which help keep them productive and effective.
